- Setup Using RF Pairing
- Install batteries.
Tip:
The mode button (TV, DVD, AUX) will blink five times with each button press when batteries need replacement.
- Remove sticker and secure RF Adapter to the front center of the set-top box.
- Plug the RF Adapter into an open USB slot on the set top box.
- Press and hold both the SETUP and NAV UP buttons simultaneously until the "STB" mode button on the remote begins blinking.
- When successfully paired, the green RF Adapter LED will stop blinking and will stay on.
Tips:
- If pairing is not successful, the remote LED will blink one long blink and will exit pairing mode.
- If the RF Adapter LED is not lit, then either power is not supplied or pairing has failed.
- If pairing failed, repeat from step 3.
- Install batteries.
- Setup Using Popular Brands
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button (TV, DVD, AUX) blinks twice.
- Press the mode button for the device you wish to set up. The mode button stays lit.
- Find your device and brand from the chart and note the number button assigned to your brand. Press and hold the number button for your device/brand.

Tip:
If your brand does not appear in the brand chart, perform setup using either Direct Code Entry or Code Search.
- Release the button when your device turns off. Setup for the device is complete.
Notes:
- Two blinks indicate successful programming.
- One long blink indicates programming failure.
- Setup Using Direct Code Entry
- Press the mode button (TV, DVD, or AUX) for the device you wish to set up.
- Press and hold SETUP until the selected mode button blinks twice.
- Enter the first code for your brand from the code list.
- Press the POWER button to test with your device. If the device turns off, setup is complete.
- If device does not turn on, repeat these instructions using the next code for your brand or use Code Search instructions.
- Setup Using Code Search
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button (TV, DVD, AUX) blinks twice.
- Press the mode button for the device you wish to set up. The mode button stays lit.
- Press and hold the OK button.
- Release the OK button when your device turns off.
- Locking Volume Controls to One Device
By default the volume buttons will be locked to TV mode. Follow these steps to lock the volume buttons to another device no matter which mode is selected.
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button (TV, DVD, AUX) blinks twice.
- Press VOL + button.
- Press the mode button that corresponds to the device you use for volume controls.
Notes:
- Two blinks indicate successful programming.
- One long blink indicates programming failure.
- Cancel Volume Control Locks
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button (TV, DVD, AUX) blinks twice.
- Press the MUTE button, the mode button will blink four times upon successful unlock.
- Locking TV/Video Button to One Device
By default the TV/VIDEO button will control any device depending on the mode selected. Follow these steps to lock the TV/VIDEO button to just one device no matter what mode is selected.
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button blinks twice.
- Press the TV/VIDEO button.
- Press the mode button that corresponds with the device you use for changing audio/video inputs.

- Learning Mode
- Position remotes one to two inches apart.
- Press and hold SETUP until a mode button blinks twice.
- Press 9-7-5. The mode button will blink twice again.
- Press the desired mode button, then the button to be taught.
- Press and hold the desired button on the teaching remote until the mode button blinks twice.

Notes:
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to learn other button.
- To exit, press and hold SETUP until a mode button blinks twice.
