Fibe TV App on mobile device

Browse On Demand using the Fibe TV app
  1. The Movies and Shows sections contain on-demand content that is part of your subscriptions as well as content that can be rented or purchased.
  2. Click on a shortcut at the top of the Movies or Shows sections to easily navigate to different categories.
    • To view channels, click on the shortcut or scroll to the bottom of the section. 
    • Within the Movies section, click on the Rentals shortcut to rent or purchase available content.
  3. Select View All to see more content within that category.
Set video streaming quality in the Fibe TV app
  1. Touch Menu to open the side navigation panel.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch My Account.
  4. Touch Set quality.
  5. Touch the preferred streaming quality (e.g., Best).
Navigate around the different sections of the Fibe TV app
  1. Touch Home to view featured content.
  2. Touch Guide to view the programming guide.
  3. Touch Shows to view on-demand shows.
  4. Touch Movies to view on-demand movies.
  5. Touch My watchlist to find saved shows, movies and downloads easily.
  6. Touch the Settings icon to manage everything from favourites to paired devices.
Remove devices from my account
  1. Touch Menu to open the side navigation panel.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch My Devices.
  4. Touch the device you want to remove.
  5. Touch Delete.
  6. Enter your My Account username and touch Modify.
  7. Touch Delete to confirm that you want to remove the device.
Turn on closed captioning in the Fibe TV app
  1. When watching a program, touching CC will enable closed captions for the video being watched.
  2. Touching CC again will turn off closed captions.
Navigate to other content while watching a program
  1. When watching a program, touch the collapse icon to open the On now or On Demand guide.
  2. Select any program in the guide to start watching it on your device.
  3. You can also access your Recently Watched, Favourites and My list content directly from this view.
  4. Touch the expand icon to return to full screen.
Reset your Fibe TV app PIN
  1. Touch Menu to open the side navigation panel.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Parental Controls.
  4. Touch Unlock.
  5. To reset the PIN, touch Forgot your PIN?
  6. Enter your My Account username and touch Modify.
  7. Enter the 4-digit PIN you want.
  8. Enter the PIN again.
  9. Your PIN has been changed. Touch Close to continue.
Search in the Fibe TV app
  1. From any screen in the app, touch the magnifying glass icon.
  2. Type what you're searching for into the box, then touch Search.
  3. Browse the top results in each section by swiping left and right.
  4. To see more results within a section, touch the View more results button at the end of the row.
  5. Touch any of the tabs to jump to a specific section of the search results.
Set which content appears on your home screen in the Fibe TV app
  1. Your home screen can show a variety of personalized and featured content available to you. Use filters to show or hide different categories.
  2. You can choose from the following categories:
    • Movies, shows and channels that you're subscribed to and can watch for free, on demand.
    • Popular On Demand movie rentals.
    • Your favourite channels.
    • My list and on demand rentals.
Use parental controls in the Fibe TV app
  1. Touch Menu to open the side navigation panel.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Parental Controls.
  4. Touch Unlock to change the parental controls.
  5. Enter your PIN or your My Account username and password, as applicable.
    Note: The first time, you will need your My Account username and password but you can set a PIN once you log in.
  6. In the left column, set parental controls that will apply to all devices, current and future, that are linked to your account. This will not apply to your Fibe TV home receiver.
  7. In the right column, set parental controls that will apply to the current device. This device-specific setting takes priority over the account-wide settings.
  8. Touch Done when you're finished.
